DeAndre Levy returned an interception for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter to lift the visiting Detroit Lions to a 34-27 victory over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
The Lions (5-10) have won three straight and are finishing the season on a strong note under coach Jim Schwartz.
The Dolphins (7-8) are going the other way and have lost two in a row to tie the franchise-worst home record at 1-7, matching the 2007 Dolphins, who went 1-15.
Shaun Hill threw a pair of touchdown passes for the Lions, who forced three turnovers, including a pair of interceptions of Dolphins quarterback Chad Henne.
Henne’s second interception was the difference as Levy returned it 30 yards for a touchdown with 2:11 to play.
The Dolphins got the ball back with just over two minutes to play and drove to the Lions’ 28 but Miami could not manage a game-tying touchdown.
Detroit is on a three-game winning streak for the first time since 2007.
