Rockets 124, Jazz 86: Terrence Jones had 30 points and four blocked shots as host Houston rolled past Utah to end a three-game losing streak.

Patrick Beverley added 19 points and seven assists and Jeremy Lin had 17 points and nine assists as the Rockets built a 19-point halftime lead and cruised to the win. Omer Asik contributed 12 points and 11 rebounds with Dwight Howard (ankle) sitting out while James Harden and Jordan Hamilton scored 15 points apiece.

Derrick Favors and Alec Burks scored 15 points apiece for the Jazz, who have lost five straight games and 10 of their last 11. Gordon Hayward tallied 11 points and Trey Burke added 10 for Utah.

Houston shot 58.2 percent from the field and made 13-of-25 3-pointers while moving two games ahead of fifth-place Portland in the Western Conference. The Rockets never trailed and led by as many as 41 in the final quarter while winning by their largest margin of the season and ending their longest skid of the campaign.

The Rockets shot 56.1 percent from the field and led by as many as 21 in the first half while taking a 60-41 halftime advantage. Houston then went 11-of-17 in the third quarter to boost the lead to 92-69 entering the fourth before finishing off the rout and handing Utah its largest margin of defeat this season.
