Pistons 110, Suns 108: Josh Smith collected 25 points and 11 rebounds -- including the winning bucket with 1.2 seconds left -- as host Detroit held on for its second straight win.

Greg Monroe tallied 20 points and 12 rebounds and Andre Drummond added 13 points and 13 boards as Detroit dominated inside, outrebounding the Suns 59-45 and outscoring them 68-40 in the paint. Brandon Jennings dished out a season-high 18 assists to go with eight points and eight rebounds for the Pistons, who have won consecutive games for the first time since Dec. 16-18.

Channing Frye hit five 3-pointers en route to 21 points to lead six players in double figures for the Suns, who have lost two straight. P.J. Tucker finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds and Marcus Morris scored 17 off the bench.

Smith hit a go-ahead 3-pointer as the shot clock expired with 26.8 seconds left but fouled Gerald Green on a 3-point attempt on the next possession. Green hit all three free throws to tie it before Smith drove up the right side of the lane and banked in a tough, left-handed shot to redeem himself.

The Suns hit five 3-pointers in the third quarter to begin cutting into a 13-point halftime deficit but still trailed 89-79 entering the final period before scoring the first seven points of the fourth to set up the exciting finish. Smith scored 15 in the half and Jennings matched Isiah Thomas' franchise record with 16 first-half assists as the Pistons went to the break with a 64-51 advantage.
