MAVERICKS 110, KINGS 100: Dirk Nowitzki and Roddy Beaubois scored 15 points apiece to help host Dallas beat Sacramento.

Shawn Marion contributed 10 points and 14 rebounds as the Mavericks snapped a two-game losing streak.

DeMarcus Cousins had 25 points, 18 rebounds and a career-best six steals for the Kings, who have lost five straight games.

The victory edged Dallas into seventh place in the Western Conference playoff race, a half-game ahead of the idle Denver Nuggets.

Beaubois scored six points during a 9-2 run to start the fourth quarter and give Dallas a 92-79 lead. Sacramento responded with eight straight points and pulled within five on Jimmer Fredette’s 3-pointer with 6:39 left.

Delonte West scored five straight points to get the Mavericks’ lead back to 10 with 5:35 left. A 3-pointer by Jason Terry made it 104-91 with 2:41 remaining.

Terry and West scored 13 points apiece and Brendan Haywood added 11 for the Mavericks, who had a 56-40 edge on the boards.

Tyreke Evans, Marcus Thornton and rookie Isaiah Thomas scored 16 points apiece for Sacramento. Fredette tallied 13 points.

Dallas led 57-50 at halftime and boosted the lead to 10 points four minutes into the third quarter. Sacramento rebounded to trail 83-77 entering the final quarter.
