Shawn Marion scored a season-high 22 points and the visiting Dallas Mavericks earned a 94-91 victory over the Utah Jazz Thursday.
Marion also had a team-high seven rebounds for the Mavericks (9-7), who snapped a two-game losing streak. Utah (9-5) was 7-1 at home.
Rodrigue Beaubois had a season-high 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting for Dallas. Dirk Nowitzki scored 12. Lamar Odom had 11 off the bench.
Al Jefferson had 22 points and nine rebounds for Utah. Paul Millsap had 16 points and 13 rebounds. C.J. Miles had 17 points.
Tied at 87, Dallas' Jason Terry made a 3-pointer and Marion added a layup for a 92-87 lead.
Utah was 31 of 80 from the field but made up for it by making 26-of-29 free throws
