Nene had a season-high 27 points and 11 rebounds and Arron Afflalo scored a season-high 25 points as the Denver Nuggets won their seventh straight game by recording a 108-107 victory over the visiting Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday.
Nene recorded his first double-double of the season, had six assists and connected on 10-of-13 shots from the field as the Nuggets improved to 13-6 on the season.
Rudy Gay scored 24 points and blocked five shots for Memphis, which lost its third in a row and fell to 8-13 on the campaign.
Afflalo made 10-of-14 shots and had three 3-point baskets.
Mike Conley had 19 points and nine assists and Zach Randolph added 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Grizzlies.
Denver star Carmelo Anthony had a poor 4-of-20 shooting night and scored just 13 points.
Rookie Xavier Henry scored a season-best 17 points for Memphis.
Memphis trailed 33-16 after the first quarter but played solidly over the ensuing two quarters to take a 77-76 lead into the final quarter.
