Gerald Henderson had career highs of 19 points and nine rebounds and Stephen Jackson scored 18 of his 21 points after intermission Saturday as the Charlotte Bobcats posted a 104-89 victory over the Washington Wizards, who fell to 0-18 on the road this season.
The last team to lose 18 straight games in the same season was the Memphis Grizzlies two years ago. The Chicago Bulls lost 19 straight during the 2002-03 campaign.
D.J. Augustin finished with 20 points and nine assists as the Bobcats improved to 9-9 at home.
Kirk Hinrich scored 18 points and John Wall added 16 and 11 assists for Washington, which has lost 19 straight road games dating to last season.
The Bobcats pushed a three-point halftime cushion to 12, withstood a 12-0 run by Washington and strung together 12 straight of its own later to take an 82-71 lead with 10 minutes left in the game.
Charlotte got 15 from Henderson and 12 from Augustin to offset 12 and six assists by Wall to take a 49-46 lead at the half.
