Kobe Bryant had 33 points and nine rebounds and Pau Gasol posted his sixth consecutive double-double as the Los Angeles Lakers routed the host Detroit Pistons, 103-90, on Wednesday.
Gasol had 25 points and 12 rebounds while recording his 10th double-double of the season for the Lakers (10-2), who improved to 2-0 on their three-game trip. Lamar Odom also had a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds for Los Angeles.
Rodney Stuckey scored 18 points to lead Detroit (4-8).
Bryant was 11-of-20 from the field and 8-for-8 from the line while topping the 30-point mark for the fourth time in five games. Gasol was 10-of-17 from the field and hit all five of his free throws.
Los Angeles led, 84-63, after three quarters.
Tayshaun Prince added 13 points and Austin Daye scored 12 for the Pistons, who shot just 39.3 percent from the field.
Detroit’s Richard Hamilton was ejected just five minutes into the game for arguing with referee Derrick Stafford.
