Amar'e Stoudemire scored 23 points and Wilson Chandler added 21, helping the New York Knicks snap a three-game losing streak with a 112-98 home victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night.
The Knicks (17-12) were coming off a week in which they had back-to-back losses at Madison Square Garden to Boston and Miami in addition to losing in overtime at Cleveland on Saturday.
A three-day break and a return to the Garden made a difference for New York, which shot 49 percent (42-of-86) from the field, including 10-of-21 3-pointers.
The Knicks took the lead midway through the second quarter and used two second-half runs to open up the game.
Leading 71-61 early in the third quarter, New York scored nine straight points. The Thunder scored the first basket of the fourth quarter to cut the deficit to 90-80, but the Knicks went on a 7-0 spurt to widen the advantage to 17 points.
Landry Fields scored 14 points for the Knicks. Danilo Gallinari added 13 and Raymond Felton 12.
Kevin Durant scored 26 points and Russell Westbrook added 23 for the the Thunder (20-10), who had won six of seven but showed the effects of playing in Charlotte on Tuesday night, shooting 39 percent (38-of-97).
