The Phillies took a 1-0 lead two pitches into the game on Turner's 406-foot blast against Sandy Alcantara (3-8). The homer was Turner's eighth this season.

Miami pulled even in the second inning. After Kyle Stowers tripled with one out, Eric Wagaman struck out and Liam Hicks walked before Connor Norby singled in a run.

Philadelphia regained the lead on Kepler's ninth homer of the season, a one-out shot in the fourth inning.

Alcantara allowed two runs on five hits over five innings. He walked one and struck out five while throwing 100 pitches.

The Phillies tacked on another run in the seventh inning against Valente Bellozo when Brandon Marsh hit a one-out triple and scored on Turner's single.

Miami cut the lead to 3-2 in the eighth after putting two runners on with no outs. Otto Lopez hit a force out to shortstop before a run scored on Agustin Ramirez's sacrifice fly.

With the bases loaded and two outs in the ninth, the Phillies added a pair of insurance runs on Bohm's single against Cade Gibson.
