Cardinals 13, Astros 5: Allen Craig went 4-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs as visiting St. Louis routed Houston to snap a three-game losing streak.

Carlos Beltran and David Freese also homered for the Cardinals, who sent 11 batters to the plate and scored seven runs in the fourth inning. Jake Westbrook (4-2) received the win despite yielding four runs over six innings.

Beltran opened the fourth with a double off Lucas Harrell (5-8), who allowed Craig’s RBI single before walking three of the next four batters. Matt Carpenter highlighted the rally with a three-run triple to give the Cardinals a 6-0 lead, and Yadier Molina ended Harrell’s night with a one-out RBI single.

Westbrook took a no-hitter into the sixth before Matt Dominguez hit a leadoff homer to left field. The Astros added three more runs in the inning on Brett Wallace’s two-run triple and Jason Castro’s sacrifice fly.

After scoring a total of seven runs in three losses to Texas over the weekend, St. Louis responded with 15 hits against the Astros. Beltran and Freese drove in two runs apiece for the Cardinals, who led 11-4 after Craig launched a two-run blast off Josh Fields in the eighth.
