Diamondbacks 3, Marlins 2: Paul Goldschmidt led off the bottom of the ninth inning with his 17th home run as host Arizona snapped its four-game losing streak.
Martin Prado also went deep and A.J. Pollock recorded two of the five hits by the Diamondbacks, who had lost seven of their previous nine contests.
Following a similar script written by Miami in Monday's series opener, Arizona erased a 2-0 deficit before winning in the ninth. After Prado knotted the contest in the fourth with a two-run blast, Goldschmidt deposited a 1-0 offering from Chad Qualls (2-1) over the wall in center field for the walk-off victory.
David Hernandez (3-4) picked up the win after tossing a perfect top of the ninth. Randall Delgado allowed two runs and eight hits over seven frames in his first start of the season.
Derek Dietrich hit a run-scoring triple and Adeiny Hechavarria recorded two hits and an RBI for the Marlins, who had won three of four.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Miami LF Juan Pierre singled in the third inning to extend his hitting streak to 14 games, while RF Giancarlo Stanton went 0-for-4, ending his run at seven contests. Stanton homered twice on Monday, belting a two-run shot to knot the contest before launching a game-winning solo shot in the ninth. ... Marlins starter Nathan Eovaldi yielded two runs and three hits over six innings in his season debut. The right-hander had been sidelined since spring training with shoulder inflammation. ... Goldschmidt leads the National League with 62 RBIs.
