Dodgers 9, Pirates 3: Clayton Kershaw pitched eight solid innings to earn his fourth straight victory and Matt Kemp drove in three runs to help visiting Los Angeles win its ninth consecutive game against Pittsburgh.

The Dodgers broke it open with three runs in the fourth and four in the seventh to coast to a second straight rout of Pittsburgh after an 11-0 win Tuesday.

The Pirates, who until recently had the best home record in the majors, have lost seven of their last nine at PNC Park.

Kershaw (11-6) held the Pirates to three runs on six hits. He struck out eight and has recorded at least seven strikeouts in 11 of his last 13 starts.

Shane Victorino had three hits and scored two runs for the Dodgers, extending his hitting streak to nine games. He has hit safely in 11 of 13 games since being acquired from Philadelphia. Andre Ethier also had three hits for Los Angeles.

Pirates starter Wandy Rodriguez (7-12) allowed five runs on 10 hits over 5 2/3 innings to remain winless in four starts since coming over from Houston.

Andrew McCutchen hit a solo home run - his 24th - for Pittsburgh. McCutchen went 1-for-3 to lower his NL-best batting average one point to .358.
