Braves 6, Pirates 1: Dan Uggla and Chipper Jones each drove in a pair of runs in a four-run seventh to power host Atlanta to its third straight victory.
Tommy Hanson (3-2) allowed one run on six hits in six innings, striking out five and walking three as the Braves matched their best home start (6-1) since 1997 - the year Turner Field opened.

Pirates starter A.J. Burnett (1-1) gave up two runs on six hits in six innings while making his second start. He struck out eight and walked three.
The Braves broke the game open against Pittsburgh's bullpen in the seventh. Tony Watson loaded the bases on a single to Prado and a pair of walks, bringing on Evan Meek.
Uggla greeted Meek with a two-run double and Jones followed with a two-run single to extend the lead to 6-1.
Garrett Jones singled in the lone run for Pittsburgh, which has been limited to two runs or fewer 13 times in 19 games.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Braves C Brian McCann left the game in the sixth with an intercostal muscle strain on his right side. He's listed as day-to-day. ... The importance of 3B Chipper Jones in Atlanta's lineup is reflected in the record. The Braves improved to 10-2 with him in the lineup as opposed to 3-5 when he was sidelined. ... Pirates prospect Josh Bell, a second-round pick in last year's draft, underwent knee surgery Friday and is expected to miss much of the season. ... The Pirates are 19-45 in their last 64 games in Atlanta.
