Chase Headley drove in a pair of runs and Scott Hairston homered to guide the San Diego Padres to a 5-3 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday.

Edward Mujica (1-0) picked up his first win of the season in relief of starter Wade LeBlanc, who allowed one earned run in five innings. Heath Bell notched his third save of the season.

Hairston led off the bottom of the seventh with his solo shot to cut the deficit to 2-1 and Jerry Hairston doubled him in to tie the game.

Headley followed-up with a two-run double and scored on the play thanks to Tony Abreu’s throwing error for the 5-2 cushion.

Aaron Heilman (0-1) was tagged with the loss.

Diamondbacks starter Ian Kennedy went five scoreless innings, allowing two hits and three walks with seven strikeouts.

Mark Reynolds went 3-for-4 with two RBIs, including his fourth home run, for the Diamondbacks.
