Nick Hundley’s sacrifice fly with one out in the bottom of the ninth scored Chase Headley as the San Diego Padres rallied for a 4-3 victory over the Seattle Mariners in an interleague game Friday night at Petco Park.

Mariners closer David Aardsma (0-4) took a 3-2 lead into the ninth, but allowed a single to Will Venable and hit Headley with a pitch. Adrian Gonzalez doubled in Venable and then Scott Hairston was intentionally walked when Hundley smacked a fly ball to right.

It was Aardsma’s fourth blown save of the season.

Joe Thatcher (1-0) pitched a perfect ninth for San Diego to get credit for the win.

Milton Bradley had three hits and his sixth-inning home run gave Seattle a 3-2 lead.

Bradley hit his first home run since May 25 off starter Kevin Correia, who gave up three runs on eight hits in six innings. Correia struck out five and walked one.

Seattle starter Jason Vargas allowed two runs on seven hits in six innings, while striking out five and walking two.

San Diego scored twice in third on Tony Gwynn’s RBI triple and David Eckstein’s RBI single.

Seattle shortstop Josh Wilson had three hits, raising his average to .301.
